Hi I'm Paige

I am number four of ten children. I a love to sing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the fourth of ten children. I love and am proud to be from a big family because my siblings are some of my best friends. My parents, as you can imagine, are pretty incredible. The have taught us through example and words how to be individuals who are honest, hard working, kind, and who love God. I am currently attending a community college where I am studying music, particularly vocal performance, I am preparing to transfer to a university. I love performing solo and in choirs. I have been singing my entire life, and have found the most joy and fulfillment in using this gift to bring peace and joy into the lives of others, and to share my testimony of our Savior and Father in Heaven, and of Their great love for us. Music in general has been a very significant influence for good all of my life. I also play the piano and love teaching this skill to others. I love outdoor activities, especially distance running. I participated in Cross Country in high school and have run a couple of 1/2 marathons and a few 10K's. I love people in general and am fascinated by the fact that everyone has their own interesting story and has something to teach me.

Why I am a Mormon

I come from a long line of members of the Church, so I have always had the teachings of the restored Gospel. But I, myself, have still had to develop my own testimony and not simply follow in the tradition of my parents. I have chosen to live according to the teachings of the Gospel because I know for myself that they are true. This is the true Church of Jesus Christ. I don't have a miraculous story to tell about how I came to know it. My knowledge has come over the years through simple, but precious experiences. It has come from praying and reading the scriptures, especially the Book of Mormon, day by day. It has come as I have felt the truthfulness of what I was hearing or reading. It has come as I have turned to the Lord in difficult times as I have been comforted and as I have received answers to my prayers. My knowledge of the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and my membership in His true and living Church means everything to me. I am who I am because of it.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving in my Young Single Adult ward as an instructor in the Relief Society (the organization for the women of the Church). I have taught lessons about things such as obedience, the eternal nature of the family, the significance of Temples, the essential role of women in the Church and the world, and the importance of our genealogy (family history). I also help with the music during our meetings whether it's accompanying the congregation in singing hymns on organ or piano, to participating in the ward choir.
