Hi I'm Joanna

I am going to school to become a social worker. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

After working at a non-profit as a caseworker, I discovered I have a passion for helping others who are going through rough times. I am now going to school at Utah State University to turn that passion into a career. I am from Colorado. I love spending time with my family and friends, watching movies and taking pictures.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a Protestant, but I could never find peace and joy in my life, and was very self destructive. When I started to learn more about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints, I was close to hitting rock bottom. Through the strength of my Heavenly Father, the healing power of the Atonement, and the support of members and missionaries, I was able to turn my life around. Because of it, I am now physically healthier, and have gained the peace and joy I was looking for.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by continually striving to live the example that Jesus Christ set. I am proud and happy to live this example. It is my goal for others to see the light of Christ shine through me. I dress modestly, abstain from alcohol and drugs and treat my body with respect, as it is a temple.
