Hi I'm Jill

I'm a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a friend, and I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

About Me

I have been married for 9 years. I am a mother of four children. My youngest are twins. I consider myself very fortunate to be a stay at home mom. I've had the opportunity to teach my oldest child to read. I am currently teaching another one of my children to read. I hope to be able to teach all of my children to read. I love to see their excitement when they realize that they are reading. I was able to complete my bachelors degree in Elementary Education. Even though I have chosen to be at home I use the knowledge I gained while obtaining my degree every day.

Why I am a Mormon

I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I have found out for myself that it is Jesus Christ's church. I have studied and pondered and prayed and received answers to my prayers. I love Jesus Christ. I love that his gospel has been restored on the earth. I love that worthy Priesthood holders can bless and heal those that are sick. I love how having faith can result in miracles. I love that Heavenly Father hears and answers prayers. I love the way I feel when I read the scriptures, Especially those from the New Testament as well as the Book of Mormon. I love that I can listen to The Prophet, Thomas S. Monson, as well as the Apostles and feel the warmth and peace that comes from the Holy Ghost testifying of truth.

How I live my faith

I teach a group of children at church. This year we have been studying the New Testament. I also take the time each month to check on other women who I have been assigned to make sure they are doing alright both spiritually and temporally. I also am the recipient of such care.
