Hi I'm Leslie

I'm a health enthusiast. I'm a wife, a mother, and a grandmother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 6 and a grandmother of 7 boys. I like to eat healthy, run, bike, lift weights, and ride my red scooter around town. As a family we enjoy camping and hanging out with each other every Sunday evening. I work for several orthopedic surgeons which affords me opportunities to show my co-workers the love I have for our Savior in the way I live my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am the 4th of 12 children. My parents joined the church before I was born. Growing up our family had issues just like every other family but my parents took us to church and taught us the gospel. I never questioned the truthfulness of the church. I always believed it. I can't pinpoint a time or an event that caused me to know the church was true. I just knew it from a very early age. I felt the love of the Savior and our Heavenly Father. I knew the Prophet Joseph Smith was a true latter-day prophet who helped restore the gospel to the earth. As I read and studied the Book of Mormon, I was touched by the truths this great book has in its pages. I knew if I would live my life in accordance to its teachings, I would find the happiness I sought. Life isn't easy and I still struggle at times but my life is anchored in the gospel which gives me strength to carry on.

How I live my faith

I serve the young women, ages 14 and 15, in the church. They are so full of life and love for Jesus Christ. I get a charge whenever I'm around the youth. I try to live my life as Jesus would have me as "when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God."
