Hi I'm Cyndi

I'm an Arizona native. I'm a proud auntie. I'm a student & a nurse. I believe in Jesus Christ,our Savior. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy cooking and organizing. I love to help others. I am going to college to be a nurse. I lived in the Wonderful State of Texas for 18months. I will always love the Texan people and their love of God. As a teenager my mother was diagnosed with a serious and chronic mental illness and I began to take over some of her mothering roles for my 4 younger siblings. My life has not been easy, but the things I have learned have made me a better and more responsible person, with practical life skills and am still very close to my younger siblings.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of the Mormon Church (aka The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. ) It was not until I was a teenager that a good friend asked what I believed it that decided to find out if I believed what I had been taught. Since then, I have felt many times the calm assurance from the Holy Spirit that the things I have learned are true. This is what I know to be true... I know God lives. I know he loves me and knows who I am. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and Redeemer. He died for me, and made it possible for me to be better. I love my Savior Jesus Christ, and try every day to be more like him. I know that the Bible is the word of God and teaches the same truths that are found in the Book of Mormon. Both testify of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ and how we can find peace in this life. I know that Adam, Moses and Noah were prophets of God who once lived on the earth. I also know that God has called prophets in these latter days to guide his people. I know Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet of God on the earth today, as was Joseph Smith. I know that miracles can and do happen everyday. I know that we lived before we were born and will live after we die. I know that families can be together forever. My faith in my Savior Jesus Christ, brings me peace and helps me through the trials of life.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by trying to treat others the way Christ would treat them. I try to encourage others to make positive life choices. I value education and believe the Lord wants us to learn about his creations and wisdom. I teach Sunday School once a month to a large group of adult women in my congregation. I served an 18 month mission, where I went door to door telling people about Jesus Christ and providing service to the local community at public libraries, nursing homes, and food banks.
