Hi I'm Greg

I am the proud father of 6 kids, I am married to a wonderful woman, I enjoy my work as a podiatrist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Fatherhood continues to teach me the value of being unselfish. Maybe heavenly father knows I still need work so he keeps blessing me with another child. Six kids can be challenging on how to balance time in fact right now my two year old asked me to hold her why I write this profile. I love my children and they are indeed my greatest blessings of my life. My wife is great at balancing life, she is a great cook, handles our finances, reads lots of books, loves me and my children and keeps our house running. Our family loves to play and watch sports, mostly basketball and football. My daughter now asks if we can watch the football game. We also enjoy listening to uplifting music and enjoy listening to each other play and the piano . Outdoors sure is a family favorite especially when the weather is warm. Hiking and biking are activities we enjoy doing together. I work as a podiatrist, a foot and ankle physician and surgeon and this profession is quite satisfying to me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I was taught early in my years from my mom and dad and religious leaders about the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am grateful for what they have taught me and the examples they have set. Although, being born in the church is a great blessing it does not necessarily mean that I will continue to live by the teachings of the Savior. I have had to study in the scriptures and pray and attend church and to question to know that the church I belong to is truly where Christ would have me be. I have done these things and know this is where I need to be. The church has given me direction and purpose in my life. It has given me a proper perspective of life. The holy ghost has confirmed to me the truthfulness of the gospel. I am so happy to know these things and hope others have this same opportunity as I have had.

How I live my faith

Currently I serve in the Bishopric of our local church. One of the responsibility of this calling is to attend lots of church meetings. I am not a meeting person but these meetings have a good purpose. They focus on serving and loving other people and how to assist these people whether it be spiritual, physical, financial etc. The best part of the calling is actually being with members of the congregation and serving them. It is such a good feeling when you know you may have helped someone else with a need they had. Service in the church and outside of the church has allowed me to forget about some of my own worries and concerns. This has helped me obtain greater happiness in my life.
