Hi I'm Brett

I grew up in Idaho. I like to play sports. I work in the healthcare field. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play sports. I have a bachelors degree in exercise science. I currently work in a hemodyalisis unit and plan on attending PA school. I have a beautiful wife, a two year old daughter, and a son on the way. The most important thing in my life is my family.

Why I am a Mormon

In my life I pursue truth. I want to understand who I am and why I am here. I have found the answers to these questions by being a Mormon. Going to church and living the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ is not just a Sunday activity. It is a way to live life to the fullest. I have found belonging, friendship, and happiness by being a Mormon. By living the standards and teachings of the gospel, God has blessed my life and the lives of my family. It allows me to be able to be with my family forever, not just in this life. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try to incorporate my faith into the way that I live my life every day. I try to conduct myself in a manner that would be pleasing to my Savior, Jesus Christ, and my Father in Heaven. On Sunday I teach Sunday School at our church. I has been a good opportunity for me to learn and to grow. I visit members of our church every month to share a spiritual message and make sure that they are taken care of. I participate in community events and in community service projects. I try to be a good citizen and a good neighbor. Our church reaches out to those in need.

What are Mormon Temples used for?

The temples are sacred places where God can dwell. Members of the church learn eternal truths in the temple. They are able to receive sacred ordinances including those that allow families to be together forever. Show more Show less
