Hi I'm Robert Teague

I love the Savior, I love my family, I'm a Board Certified Bankruptcy Law Specialist, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up primarily in Arizona, but have lived in Washington, Oregon, Ohio, and Yap Island. I have always loved learning in both formal and informal settings. I love reading and learning about other cultures and learning about this beautiful planet we live on and about the universe - the whole of Heavenly Father's creation. I have admired many teachers in my life and thought I would give teaching a try. I taught high school from 1992-1995 at Yap High School, Federated States of Micronesia after obtaining my bachelor's degree from the University of Arizona. I loved the friendly people there and loved teaching the youth. My young family accompanied me to the islands and my second daughter was born there. After my experiences in Yap, I attended law school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Upon graduating from law school my family and I moved back to Arizona where I began practicing in the consumer bankruptcy area. I now have my own law practice and love helping people in difficult circumstances obtain relief and get a fresh start in life. I have 5 wonderful children ranging in age from 3 to 21. They are the most wonderful gift my Heavenly Father has given me in this life. I love being a father. Although it is difficult and trying, I love and cherish them. I try to live the teachings of my Savior Jesus Christ and desire that my children will learn to put their trust in Him as the source of thier salvation.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, a "Mormon", because I have faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and know that we have a loving, all-knowing, Father in Heaven. Our Father has a beautiful and wonderous plan of happiness for us. This plan of salvation is described by prophets of old throughout the scriptures and has been revealed in our day by the prophet Joseph Smith. This time we have been blessed with on Earth is a time to be tried and tested to see what our true nature is and whether we will have the faith, hope, and the charity we need to keep God's commandments and endure well the adversities we experience in life. The Church helps me to make and keep sacred covenants with God. I feel renewed in purpose and faith when I attend church meetings regularly. I gain strength from associating with others who are also striving to remain faithful to the teachings of the Savior. I really love the support the church provides to parents and families. I a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because the spirit has witnessed to my soul that it is a source of truth and light and that my life will be blessed.

How I live my faith

Being a member of the Chuch of Jesus Christ requires sacrifice. The sacrifices of time, talents, and resources, have always brought happiness and enriched my life. I have always enjoyed the many opportunities for service that the Church provides. I have taught Sunday School lessons to both children and adults. I have taught high school aged youth about the Gospel of Jesus Christ for a number of years. Additionally, I have served in many other ways in the Church. I really enjoy the less formal opportunities to serve others, such as helping people move in or out of the neighborhood, working on one of the Churchs' welfare farms (picking strawberries and apples in Ohio were my favorite!) I strive each day to be honest and show others by my words and actions that I love the Lord and that I am trying to become more like him.

What is the Book of Mormon?

Robert Teague
The Book of Mormon, like the Holy Bible, is a book of scripture which testifies of the divinity of Jesus Christ as the Son of God. It is a powerful testament of Christ and his love for all of his children. It is my favorite book. Show more Show less
