Hi I'm LuAnn

I'm a Mormon.I have six children, am from Mesa, Arizona and work as a counselor.

About Me

I have six children, four girls and two boys. Four are from my first marriage ages 25-18 all live here in Arizona, three are going to school at ASU, and the community college, and two from my second marriage who are 4 and 2. I work as a counselor for Banner Behavorial doing instensive outpateint therapy. We love doing things together as a family, we go to the lake and waterski, camp in the mountains or at the dunes and go riding. We swim, go to the zoo and the arboritum and spend as much time playing as we can. I love to read, sing, hike, and travel. Church is an important, intricate part of my life, as a counselor I understand the important balance in life of physical, spiritual, mental and emotional. Prayer, meditation, scripture study, reading modern day revelation and teaching others about the gospel are the way I keep my spiritual self strong, just as working out, eating right, and sleeping keep my physical self strong.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member my whole life. My testimony of the Savior Jesus Chritst and the gopel are built on many, any strong feelings within my heart of the truthfulness of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. During church meetings the spirit, which I feel in my heart, come frequently and I know that I am suppost to be there each week to feast on the words, thoughts, ideas that are presented each Sunday. Each day I read my scriptures, the Bible, Book of Mormon, Doctrine in Covenants or Pearl of Great Price and have the spirit of the Holy Gost confirm to me the truthfulness of what I am reading. I receive answers to questions I have about my life, my children, marriage or even clients I am working with . I pray every day to be an instrument in the hands of God to heal others in my profession. The church is the foundation for me to be that important part of clients' lives to facilitate their healing in this critical time in life. The gospel has helped me to find truth and light in my life and have a direct connection with my Heavenly Father and my Savior in my life. I have had many difficult times in my life, that have strengthend me due to my testimony and understanding of the attonement of my Savior and what it means in my life. I also teach others how to use it in thier lives to heal from past abuse and issues they have encountered. The Mormon church has given me a focus that no other earthly institution could have brought to me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by teaching and training others. I have taught the adults in our ward for four years the gospel and truthfulness of it, how it can be used in their lives, and the how to truly understand the attonement of the Savior Jesus Christ. Each time I teach the sprit of the Holy Ghost manefests to me the Book of Mormon is true, it was written to teach each of us in this day about the Savior, how he visited the people here in America after his resurection, and is another testament of him here on the earth. Faith is what each day in my life is built on, faith I will do better, faith that my Heavenly Father loves me and live, faith that my brother Jesus Christ lived for me and attoned for my sins in the Garden of Gethsemane. My healing process in my life has only been possible through this amazing event. I have learned to let go of sin, hurt, pain, and give it to him knowing he will heal it though this action. I continue to build my faith through reading scripture each day, praying, meditation and knowing he hears and knows everything I ask, think and feel.
