Hi I'm Karen

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mother of three and grandmother of 7. I graduated from BYU and LOVE to cook and do acts of kindness and service to others. I love working on my Apple computer creating scrapbook pages, slide shows and lessons. Spending time with my family and especially my grandchildren brings me a lot of joy.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a part member family. My mom was a member but my dad wasn't. He always went to church with us until he died at 87 years of age and never joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Most memorable to me was when my parents took us to the Sacred Grove in upper state New York and I felt a very special feeling. I have always believed in the Joseph Smith story as it speaks to my heart. The Gospel has always been a way of life for me giving me many freedoms and opportunities through living the teachings.

How I live my faith

I serve in the Mesa Arizona Temple and help plan events for Mids (31-45 year old single parents) and their kids. I play the piano and organ and have been a church organist for years. I have taught seminary and institute for many years and it strengthens my testimony. I love learning and teaching the Gospel. I love to listen to the Mormon Channel and the LDS radio, My car is my library of learning with talk and music including General Conference.
