Hi I'm Breanna

I am a nursing assistant, a daughter, and a Mormon Missionary.

About Me

Hi my name is Breanna Crandell. I am 21 years old and am currently serving in the Boise Idaho mission. I have been on my mission for 15 months and have loved every single moment of it. Before my mission I was just doing normal every day things...nothing terribly exciting. I was going to school to become a nurse which I plan to continue. I was also working at an assisted living facility as a nursing assistant. That was an interesting job and I loved it. Not many people would say that but I loved to help those who couldn't help themselves. That same attitude has carried over into my mission and has intensified in many ways. I want so badly to just help others. One thing I have learned is that we all have our struggles in this life no matter what but we aren't all that different from each other.

Why I am a Mormon

Like a lot of people in the LDS church I was born and raised going to church. That has been a huge blessing in my life and has helped me make a lot of decisions in my life. I have changed a lot on my mission and I now have a stronger testimony than I did 15 months ago. I know with out a doubt that this is God's church on the earth today. I know that He is very much aware of all of His children no matter where we may be or what situations we may be in. He has blessed us with so much and continues to bless us every single day even if we can't see those blessings right now. I know that one of the greatest blessings He has given us is the Book of Mormon. It isn't just another book. It is the word of God and as we read it we truly do come closer to our Heavenly Father and our Savior. I have learned so much about the Savior as I have studied the Book of Mormon. This church is one of the greatest things in my life!

How I live my faith

I am not a perfect person. I make a lot of mistakes, but if there was only one thing that I could take from this gospel I would take the important message that I don't have to be perfect. What a wonderful gift that is! I just have to try to follow Jesus Christ as best I can. I am striving every single day to become what my Heavenly Father sees in me. Its not easy in this world to be LDS. There are so many things that are just commonly accepted as normal and okay. But God hasn't changed and He never will so the only way that we can know how to live in this world and live our lives the way God wants us to is through scripture study and prayer. I love praying! That is what helps me make it through each and every day!
