Hi I'm Kelly

Mom of 3 girls and 1 boy, and the G'MA to 6 girls. I love our Savior, stories, crafts, yardwork, & the beautiful world we are in.

About Me

I am a Grandmother of six granddaughters. I am a single parent of four children. I am a sister of seven siblings. I have a wondferful Mom and Dad. I have been in the workforce for more than 40 years. I have quite a few hobbies, such as crewel work, singing, scrapbooking, puzzles, knitting, family history and yard work. I love to teach Relief Society. I love this beautiful country that we live in.

Why I am a Mormon

Life is hard. It is not meant to be easy. We need to progress, learn and have faith in the Lord. Having the testimony of God our Father, his son Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost makes life so much easier. The gospel helps us to be better people, to be kinder to others, to be more loving, more compassionate and charitable towards others regardless of their circumstance..

How I live my faith

I have so much gratitude and love for my Father. His desire to have the gospel in his life and to share it with others will go on forever. I am a member of the choir and love to sing. I have held callings in the youth program and in the womens programs at church and participate in the visiting teaching program at church. The visiting teaching program has allowed me to get to know other ladies whom i normally would have never known. I have been teaching the youth for about 4 years and currently serve in the Relief Society program as a 4th Sunday teacher. I love it. There is nothing sweeter than spreading the word of our Savior and Father. I try to set an example to my children and grandchildren on how you should treat others with kindness and love.

Are Mormons Christians?

We are Christians. We believe in Christ and he is the son of God. He came to this earth and was slain for our sins. That through him, we can repent. Being a Christian is being Christlike in the way we speak, and treat others of every kind and that we want whats best for them. Show more Show less
