Hi I'm Gary

I'm an active Scouter. I build radio stations, explore remote places and make knives. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a husband, father, grandfather and a great grandfather. Been married to the same girl for over 42 years. I am a 52 year veteran with the Boy Scouts of America. I have received the Silver Beaver recognition. The hobbies I enjoy include whitewater rafting, canoeing, knife making and exploring historic backways. I am employed in the radio broadcast business as the Director of Engineering. Design, construction, maintenance and operation of radio stations has been a great fit for my interests and talents. Going to work each day is fun and adventurous. From remote transmitter sites to state of the art studio facilities utilizing the latest state of the art technologies has been a challenging and rewarding opportunity.

Why I am a Mormon

I know Jesus Christ, that he atoned for our sins and that he lives to bring us to our Father in Heaven. I know that he restored his church in these latter days, thru the Prophet Joseph Smith. I have witnessed the power of forgiveness and the blessing of repentance and the power of Christ's atonement. The calm and sure witness of the Holy Ghost has been confirmed in my very being and I can not deny it.

How I live my faith

I work with the young men in the church and serve in the Scouting program. It is easier to build boys than it is to mend men. The opportunity to serve the infirm and elderly in my area is a blessing to myself and others that I serve. Young men need opportunities to give to others and service in the church provides these experiences.
