Hi I'm KaeCee

I'm a wife. I'm a decorating and craft making enthusiast. I'm a student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Preston, ID, in the heart of the mountains. I have been married to the man of my dreams for nearly 2 years. During our first year together, we moved to a new state or country on average every month and a half. We have finally found a spot to call home for the next few years as my husband starts his career. We bought our home in the lovely South Hill part of Spokane, WA. I am a student studying Biology. I am planning on becoming one of three things: a Chiropractor, Physical Therapist, or Occupational Therapist. I am still weighing my options. Though we currently do not have any kids, I can't wait to be a mom! I love children. They come directly to us from our Father in Heaven. It will be a couple more years, but I looking forward to it! I love nature and I love the big city. I love music: Indie, Instrumental, and anything kinda funky. I love decorating everything! I am a scrapbooker, rollercoaster enthusiast, reader, writer, Italian food lover, relaxer, wakeboarder, and a ballroom dancer. I love to play sports and try new foods! I love the world and my dream to visit every corner of it.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, as did my parents. I know this gospel is true. I see it everyday in the trees, the stars, the people I pass on the street, the brightness of babies' eyes, in sunsets, and in small kindnesses. God is everywhere. He loves me. He cares for me. I know that I have a purpose on this earth; that I have a place. Every one of us is known and loved. I love the feelings of peace that engulf me as I do my best to live the commandments and to do what is right. I know that Jesus Christ is our Redeemer, that He gave His life for me--and everyone-- so that I have the opportunity to repent and grow closer to Him.

How I live my faith

I attend church every Sunday, read my scriptures every night, pray two times a day, and have Family Home Evening once a week to talk about the gospel and our Saviour. I had the opportunity to serve in nursery and help children ages 1 1/2 to 3 years learn about Jesus. I have also been asked to represent the youth of my ward on the stake level, planning service projects, activities, and speakers to talk at quarterly devotionals. I have recently been called (or asked to) serve as a Sunday School teacher for investigators and new members. We discuss the very basic and fundamental parts of the LDS religion. I have had many experiences recently bearing my testimony of my Saviour Jesus Christ to people on the bus or at work or to investigators. I live my faith one day at a time, trying my very best to be an example of Jesus Christ and do as He would do.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Increasing faith in Jesus Christ involves 4 steps: 1. Having a desire to believe in Christ. We start a journey of a 1000 miles with one step. It is the same with believing in Christ. We must first have a desire to believe. 2. Study His word. Read the scriptures and the Ensign. These are direct words from Christ spoken through Prophets. Reading about Christ's life and his ministry will help you understand and feel closer to our Savior. 3. Pray. You must ask to know if it is true. You will be answered if you seek with pure intent, sincerely wanting to know if He lives. 4. Be obedient to His words. Your faith will grow and your understanding that Christ is the Redeemer of the world will strengthen when you keep the commandments and follow His words. Show more Show less
