Hi I'm Brad

I grew up in America, I am a doctor in the US Army and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father to three girls and I work as a doctor in the United States Army. My wife and I have been married since 2005. I really enjoy sports and outdoor activities, but I am never one to turn down a nice relaxing day indoors either. As a side hobby I like to write and illustrate children's books for my daughters. I actually had one published by a small company, but most of them I have only printed just for our family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a strong belief that we are blessed according to the level we obey God's commandments. He has a certain set of guidelines and the closer we adhere to those will determine how much he blesses us. I believe that true happiness in this life is achieved by following God's commandments. I am a Mormon because I believe it is God's true church. He truly directs the direction of the church through a modern day prophet. Many times throughout my life I have been grateful for God's influence and the guidance I have received from the teachings in the Mormon church. From the time I was a little child up to the present, it has been a constant directing influence for good in my life. I have felt God's love for me and his blessings by following his commandments. He loves all his children here on earth and desires the best for all of us. I have found his true church and express gratitude every day for His eternal goodness.

How I live my faith

At church I teach Sunday School classes to a group of children aged 8 to 9 years old with my wife. They are at a great age for instruction as they are developing great learning skills and have a passion for Christ. We pray, sing songs, read the Holy Scriptures, and try to learn to be more like Christ. This year we are studying the New Testament and the life of Jesus. I think teaching children righteous living is the best way to place them on a path that leads them back to heaven. The best way to teach is to be a positive example to them. I try to live as Christ would want me to live so that I can be a great teacher for them. My parents taught me as a child and now I have a divine responsibility to pass on Christian teachings to my kids (and the children we teach in our Sunday school class).
