Hi I'm Sasha

Born in AZ, raised in TX, and ten months ago, I chose to become a Mormon.

About Me

I am the proud adoptive mom to 4 canine kids known as the canine chaos crew. I often joke that I live in a giant dog house. I enjoy doing my own renovations on my old fixer upper and am currently working on a backyard landscape project.

Why I am a Mormon

I never thought I could be a Mormon. I had heard just about every fallacy there is about the church as a child and growing up. As an adult I made many mistakes that I am not proud of and though over the past 25 years I have met with more than 16 Missionaries I thought I was not worthy of God's love or forgiveness nor that I would fit in. I guess you could say, I was afraid to be a Mormon. That changed last year. I started taking lessons again. I knew there were unhealthy people in my life I would have to be brave enough to let go. I knew that what the Missionaries were teaching me were things I already believed. I knew that God did love me an would forgive me if I could just forgive myself. In November 2010, I was baptized and that is how I became a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live My Faith, one day at a time through; organizing and participating in community service events; meeting with other members of the church through visiting teaching activities; striving to be the best person that I can be.
