Hi I'm Bryndee

I'm an adventurer. I'm a reader. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 19 year old missionary, serving in the South Carolina Columbia Mission. I love camping and hiking and backpacking and just being outdoors in general. I love to read, anything really, all the time. I'm a huge fan of listening to music, from country to punk rock. Someday, I'm going to learn to play the drums. When I grow up, I hope to be able to find a job that enables me to do nothing but help people, all day long. I have 5 darling little sisters, and a fantastic brother. I love kids!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the LDS church. I grew up singing the primary songs, went to every youth activity, attended the services every week. I don't think I fully recognized the weight of what I was doing until just recently, when I decided to go on a mission. I realized that for the first time, I would have no friends, no family, nobody to lean on but my self, my testimony, and my god. I realized that I had to KNOW for myself the truth of the gospel, or I would fail. So, I prayed. I studied. I fasted. and slowly, I learned to recognize the spirit. I could feel my testimony of the savior and his sacrifice growing inside of me, and I needed to share it. I can now confidently say that I am a Mormon because I know that the LDS Church is the restored church of Jesus Christ, and It is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to love others like the savior did. I live my faith by serving the people I come in contact with. I live my faith by trying to become the 'Bryndee' that I know my father in heaven wants me to grow in to.

Why do you have 12 Apostles? They were just meant to be around for the time of Jesus Christ, not to be replaced with new apostles.

If God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, then why would he change the rules? The church that Jesus Christ originally established in the bible had 12 apostles, and therefore, the church that he's established through the prophet Joseph Smith has 12 apostles too. Show more Show less

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Nope. We are incredibly grateful for what he did in restoring God's true church, but we don't worship him by any means. He was simply the tool that God used to help the rest of his children. Show more Show less
