Hi I'm Diondra

I am a freshman at UVU. I love sports, the church, my friends and family. I am a Mormon. *Live*Laugh*Love*

About Me

I am 18 years old, living the freshman life down at UVU. I love people- young and old. I've been able to work as a CNA with older people and I have grown to love them so much. I love almost anything (besides golf-because i'm terrible); soccer, basketball, RUNNING, volleyball, hiking, four wheeling, camping, boating and just about anything else that is outside. I am the second oldest in a family of 6. My brother and sisters are my best friends, along with my rad parents. There is never a dull moment in my family, we are always laughing, and I am so grateful to be sealed to them for time and all eternity.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS church and it has been the greatest blessing I could have ever asked for. I have not stuck with the church because my parents do...I do because i know of it's truths. Nothing on this earth brings me more happiness than the gospel. I have had many sacred experiences in my life that have taught me how much our God loves each of us. I am a Mormon because of the values the church teaches. Serving others, loving those around you, and making family a priority are some of my favorite things our church expects us to make apart of our life.

How I live my faith

I find it easier to live my faith by attending the temple on a regular basis. While doing so I feel of my Heavenly Father's love, which can always flip a bad day around. I strive to read the Book of Mormon daily. This helps me find answers to questions I may have in life or even just remind me of things i need to do to help me progress towards salvation. I try to love those around me and reach out to those in need. When i serve other people, i feel deep gratitude and that is when i find myself closest to my Father in Heaven. I attend institute which has helped me in ways I never would have thought. The "Repentance and Forgiveness" class I am taking has helped me live a life, more full of the atonement; I am so grateful for what my Savior has done for me.
