Hi I'm Chelsea

I grew up in Mesa, Arizona. I am a dental assistant. And I love to sing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I live in Corpus Christi, TX and moved here recently from Gilbert, AZ for school. He is going to be applying for dental school in about 1 year and I am going to start dental hygiene school in a couple of months. We both have a passion for the dental field and are excited to be on the path to our careers. I love to sing; music is my passion. I have been performing since I was a very young girl. My family is probably the most important thing to me, though. My parents, siblings, and I love to spend time together and try to do so often. My husband and I have been married a little over 2 years and couldn't be happier.

Why I am a Mormon

I was fortunate to have been born into a family who already had the gospel of Jesus Christ in our home. As I grew up, I learned a lot about Jesus Christ, His life and mission on this earth, and how He can help me in my life today. Now, as an adult, I have received my own testimony of those teachings. I know Jesus is the Christ, and our Redeemer. He came to be our ultimate example and show us how to live righteous lives, and one day return home to our Father in Heaven. He made the ultimate sacrifice for us by atoning for our sins and dying on the cross. He took upon himself all of the pains, illnesses, infirmities, and sins of all who lived and would ever live. Through His Atonement we can be forgiven and our sins can be washed away; we can feel peace, relief, and comfort through our trials; and we can have true joy in this life. I also know that He was resurrected on the third day, and that because of that, I too, will live again after I leave this mortal life on earth. I love my Savior, and am so grateful to Him for all He has done and still continues to do for me in my life. I am proud to be a member of His church and hope to be more like Him every day.

How I live my faith

As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I have a responsibility to watch over and be a friend to women in my area/ward. I visit with them on a monthly basis and love getting to know them. I am there to help them through their trials and show them the love of Jesus Christ through my service and love. The sisters I visit with know they can always call me with a question or concern and I will be happy and willing to help. More than just the sisters I visit, though, being a member of Christ's church means to be His witness and do as He would do if He were here. I feel a charge to help and serve all of my brothers and sisters as His witness. I know that the truest and most rewarding happiness and joy comes from this service and love for all of my fellow man. I love being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and receiving the joy and promised blessings from service and keeping the commandments of God.
