Hi I'm Melanie

I was born and raised in Mesa Arizona. I love meeting people, making friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Mesa Arizona. I Love to learn about different cultures and religions. It helps me better understand people and their pionts of view. My husband and I have goals of visiting many different countrys such as France, Scotland, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina and Puerto Rico. We cant wait to teach our future children the lanuages we are very blessed to know English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. I love to bake, especally cakes, brownies, anything sweet. I love to do any out door activity such as play sports, swim, hike, and camp. My favorite past times are with my beloved family. I come from a family of 6, two brothers, one sister, me, and my parents. I mavel at the starts in the sky. It's amazing to me that our Heavenly Father created them all, yet still knows us each individually because we are his creations too and He loves us dearly.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church of God on the earth. I know because I have prayed to God and asked him. He answered me throught a feeling in my heart. I have no doubt that God leads and guides this church. I know that the Prophet Joseph Smith was an insrument in the hands of God to restore the true church back on the earth after so many years of it being lost and changed by men. I know that he has called Thomas S. Monson as a prophet in our day to be the messanger of his teachings and love for us. It's amazing to feel the peace the full gospel of Jesus Christ can bring us if we let it into our lives. I urge you to pray to Heavenly Father with all your heart having an open mind and ask him what is true. There are many different churches on the earth today. Alot of them teach different parts of the gospel of Jesus Christ, but only one church has all the pieces and that's because it's his church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know that if you take the time to read the scriptures and hear the message of our Savior, and ask God praying in faith you'll recieve and answer, you too can come to know the complete and everlasting happiness that the teachings of Jesus Christ can bring to your life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing what the Lord wants me to do. He wants be to be happy. Not the kind of temporal happiness that others may find by worldly activities, but real happiness with who I am, and what I'm doing here on earth. I pray and study my scriptures daily. I try to serve those around me. I try to look for a miracle everyday. I also have a calling which is like an assignment from the church that I love to do. All the callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints are ones of service. No one gets paid to teach the children or to write sermons, we do these things out of love for our Heavenly Father and love of our fellow men. My calling is to work with the young women of our ward (a ward is like an assigned congregation to maintain order with meetings and other activities). I teach the young women anges 12-13 every sunday. We have a great time learning the Gospel of Jesus Christ together though scriptures and examples. I Love the feeling I have when I talk about my Savior and Redeemer and I hope you are able to feel his love too.
