Hi I'm Suzie

I am a wife and mother. I am learning to enjoy the little things in life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a wife and mother of 4 young children. I have a bachelor's degree in Speech and Language Pathology from BYU. I am a licensed hairdresser but currently do hair just for my husband and kids. I have struggled with anxiety and fatigue for several years and have learned a lot about accepting my limitations, focusing on my strengths and enjoying the little things in life.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints all of my life. I continue to practice my faith because I know that the principles of the gospel are true. The gospel of Jesus Christ rings true in my mind and in my heart. I cannot deny the spirit of truth that I have felt over and over throughout my life. I have learned to live in a way that helps me feel peace, hope, gratitude, charity and love even amidst trials and uncertainty of life. I am grateful to have the guidance of the spirit to help me on the path of life and the knowledge of Heavenly Father's plan for me. It gives perspective and hope.

How I live my faith

I am an active member of my church. I give service by visiting 2 ladies in my congregation each month. I present them with a spiritual thought or gospel related lesson and offer help if needed. It is great to associate with other women of my faith. We strengthen and lift each other on our journey through life. Most importantly I strive to teach my children truth. We pray together, we have Family Night once a week together, we strive to read the scriptures together, and we attend church together weekly. My hope is that my children will develop a strong faith in Jesus Christ and be able to "stand in holy places" amidst the changing times and shifting values apparent in society today. My children know they are children of God. They know where they came from, who they are and where they are going. They know on whom they can rely and will have the ability to navigate life's trials and challenges.
