Hi I'm Jennifer

I am a mother, wife, and have been a hairdresser for 18 years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in several cities, born in Utah moved to Alaska when I was 12, then to Arizona when I was 17. I went to beauty school at 18 got my license at 19 and never looked back, I love what I do & I do what I love, hair is my life. I am a fashionista I guess it goes with my job, I LOVE CLOTHES & SHOES! My greatest gift is my 4 yr old son, he is the light of my life, and he keeps me going!

Why I am a Mormon

One of my ancestors' William went to look for a religion that preached the gospel the way Jesus did, when he stumbled on a LDS meeting in an alley way in Gosport Hants England in January of 1850. He was impresssed that he was hearing the same gospel preached as recorded in the New Testament, he embraced it and was baptized on February 16, 1850 at Southampton, Hampshire England. He later took the ship the Charles Buck from England to the U.S. and joined Brigham Young in Utah. I am a Mormon because of my faith in Christ and because my ancestor took the opportunity to show stregnth & humility in finding truth. I believe in the promise that if I am faithful and fulfill my duties and callings my family can be together forever. I bear my testimony that I know this church is true, and that our heavenly father loves us so much he developed a plan for us to be able to return to him again someday, thru the atonement of his only begotten son Jesus Christ. If we fufil our obligations and prepare for that day in ernest we can live with him again! I also know that our prophet Thomas S Monson does recieve revelations from God to help us in these latter days to live the gospel and prepare ourselves for that time when he will call us home... I am grateful to be a part of this church, I know that God lives and wants all his children to be happy.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday because of the peace it brings to me, it's wonderful to gather each week with others to hear the messages given to us. I also have a "calling" which is to plan events for the women in my ward, it is wonderful to be able to plan fun things for people to attend.. I am also a "visiting teacher" which means I am given 3-4 names of women in my ward in which I am responsible for their well being, and must visit them monthly to make sure they are ok as well as share a message in which the may need to hear.. I also report back to the leaders if these women need anything so they can help.. I am so grateful to be in service of my fellow sisters to be able to help them in any way I can, it is such an awesome feeling when I know I could be of service to someone in need.. This church is such a wonderful organization in which we can take part and do our part, and know that the Lord is there for us always!
