Hi I'm Pam

I'm a Mormon, a Mom, a Grandma and a County Assessor. I also have paralyzed vocal cords. I can speak but my voice is very soft.

About Me

I’m a convert to the church. I'm the Yavapai County Assessor; this is an elected position so that makes me a politician. Many have wondered why with such a soft voice I would go into politics. Well, I have learned over the years that most voters would rather be listened to than talked to. I love to play with my grandchildren; I have three of them 2 little grandsons and 1 little granddaughter! Holidays are my favorite I love to over decorate for all of them and have special holiday parties for my grand babies, their friends and families.

Why I am a Mormon

I searched and researched, pondered and prayed. Looking into many belief systems. Finally my Dad invited the Missionaries to our home. What they taught made sense to me. Later I prayed and asked for confirmation ... and through prayer the truthfulness of the teachings that the missionaries were presenting to me was confirmed.

How I live my faith

I teach a class once a month in church. I attempt to always deal fairly with other people and believe sincerely that life should be full of love, charity and service. I also think God has a sense of humor and I believe that laughing and enjoying family and friends is good.
