Hi I'm Jodi

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of two young girls. I enjoy camping, quad riding, snowboarding (though I haven't been able to do that for a few years), sewing, baking, doing crafts of all kinds, reading, and just hanging out with my girls and hubby. I love to go to the gym with friends, and I believe that the occasional "girls night out" is a must.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised LDS or Mormon. I went to church every Sunday, like I was taught. I lived the gospel standards like I was taught, and I completely took my faith for granted. When I got married almost 13 years ago, my husband and I were inactive for a couple of years. During those two years, I learned just how precious the gospel is to me. I truly felt what I was missing by not being an active member of the Church. I realized how I had been taking Christ's blessings and all that I had been taught for granted. I guess you could say that during those two years, I went through a true conversion to the gospel. I am so thankful for the Church and the wonderful people who are a part of it. I am thankful for Jesus Christ and his atoning sacrifice. I know that he died for me and was resurrected so that I might live again. I am grateful that my children have the opportunity to grow up with this knowledge and with the truth that is found in the scriptures.

How I live my faith

I have been blessed to work with children in the church for much of my adult life. I find that I really enjoy their sweet spirits and the fun personalities they have. They have taught me so much. I also love working with women in my ward to help serve others, and I find that through that service, I have made many friends that I otherwise may not have made.
