Hi I'm Cynthia

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a Redhead, need I say more? I'm very happily married to my best friend. I'm one of those strange girls who likes to play video games with their husband..... okay and by myself. I'm very good at StarCraft. I love being a mom and I love making things with my husband. We always have some project going on.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was little my mom would always take me to church. I went because she took me. When I was about 13 years old I wanted to know for myself what was true. I began reading the Bible. I finished it but I still did not know what to believe. I read the Book of Mormon, another book that testifies of Christ, but I was still not sure whether He existed. It was not until I went to an evening meeting for the youth of our church that I finally realized and knew there was a God and that He had sent His Son to earth. It was during a song about Christ that I suddenly knew without a doubt that He existed. That He had come to earth and died for us and that He lives and loves us. I recognized that I had always felt His love; I just did not know what it was. I knew He loved me and watched after me.

How I live my faith

I'm the music director for the children right now in my Church. It is so fun to teach them songs. I love to see their little faces light up when they sing songs about Christ. One of my favorite songs that they all seem to know is "I Am a Child of God." I love teaching the children with music because it was with music that the Lord first taught me. I have also been a teacher of the 11 and 12 year old children. It was so fun watching them grow. I still love those kids. They are my kids and I'm so proud of how well they are doing. I also have taught the adults. I taught alone and with my husband. It was so fun teaching with him! We would study the scriptures together and talk about what we should teach. I learned a lot just preparing the lesson with my husband.
