Hi I'm Sara

I am a mother, a Craft Designer, a wife, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full time stay at home mom while my husband attends college. We have two beautiful daughters, and plan to have more. I am a Craft Designer in a business with my mom, sisters and various friends. Got married when I was 25, and my husband has been attending school for the past 4 years, we are almost done. We have kept our faith and been very blessed while doing what is right.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and when I went out on my own I discovered for my own self the my own true testimony. Since my husband and I have been married we have had a lot of faith and prayers happen for us. We have always done what is right, even if we might not understand it at the moment and have always been blessed. I have seen people I know and love have the gospel change there lives and I know because I am Mormon, my life is the way it is, If I wasn't Mormon I wouldn't have these blessings or this faith that I know the church is true. I come from a family of 5 kids and we have all been married in the temple and have our own families. It is such a blessing to know that we are following his plan, and doing everything we can do to become like Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example to my friends, and family by the way I dress, act, and live. My family is everything to me, they come first. I work with the youth in the church and it is such a wonderful experience to see them develop there own love for the gospel and faith in being who they are and being proud to be a Mormon. Being a Mormon isn't easy but the blessings are abounding. It changes my life everyday, standing up for what I believe in. Living in a college town at the local grocery store a lot of people buy beer, but they know me and know that I don't do that and never will.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

A testimony is what you believe in, it's your faith, it is what you believe in. My testimony is that I know that God lives and he loves us and he sent his Only Begotten Son to die for us so that we could live again and repent and be forgiven of our sons. I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God and that President Thomas S. Monson is the only true prophet on the earth today. I know that families can be together forever through a temple sealing and marriage. Being worthy to receive those blessings is such a wonderful feeling. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only true church on the face of the earth today. I know the Book of Mormon is true and that The King James Version of the Bible is true as well. Show more Show less
