Hi I'm Tiffany.

I am a high school science teacher and coach. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a high school science teachers at an at-risk school. I am fortunate to be able to be a coach for volleyball and softball. I've been married now for 4 years and no kids. My husband and I are huge fans of fishing, hiking, and good food. I have a Bachelors degree in Biology/Psychology, and plan on pursuing my master in Psychology. I enjoy making something from nothing...

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints my whole life. Until I moved to Texas, I never shared my testimony. When I got to Texas, I didn't know many people, so I knew it was important to wake up every morning for early morning seminary to be with the people I knew and to strengthen my testimony. Many of my peers at school began to ask me questions about why I was 'different.' I didn't use bad language, I was late to basketball practice because of a thing called 'seminary,' I didn't drink highly caffeinated drinks like there was no tomorrow, and I could never go out on Sundays. I saw many acts of service provided to my family (growing up (5 kids + 1 mom). The church youth program helped to strengthen my values and build my testimony of Jesus Christ. I know that without such kind, loving church leaders I would not be who I am today-its their love and faith in Jesus Christ that inspired me to search out to know for myself. I have...its true!...and that's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I am a visiting teacher-I am able to visit several sisters every month and share an inspired message. I was most recently a nursery teacher (ages 18 mo-4), but for now I am greatful for the opportunity I have to be with the other women learning more about our Savior, Jesus Christ.

What is being a Mormon like?

Everyday you wake up and know that you are on this earth with a purpose-and that Heavenly Father loves you. There are many things that you can do to keep your mind alert and feel of that love at all times. Daily prayer and scripture study help ensure that you are on the right path-and weekly family home evening allows you to not only spend time with your family, but to learn more about the Savior together. Being Mormon also provides many opportunities to serve others- its such a wonderful blessing! Show more Show less
