Hi I'm Susan

I was converted to the Church in 1961in Manchester, England. It has changed my life and made me know who I really am.

About Me

I am a wife, mother and grandmother, and currently live with me husband, we are retired. We are active in the Church and love to serve others. We have served two missions as a Senior Missionary Couple, both missions in West Africa. Why do we do this when at this time in our lives we have earned and worked hard to take it easy. The simple answer is that the Church taught us the purpose of why we are here and how we can, through service, become close to our Lord and Savior. Our lives are blessed because of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

When the missionaries contacted my family in Manchester, England in 1961 and began teaching us the gospel, I realized that they had the answsers to so many of my questions. I came to understand my Heavenly Father's plan for me. I came to understand why I am here, where I came from and where I am going. I came to love the concept that we have a living Prophet on the earth today to guide and direct us. I testify that Thomas S. Monson is a living Prophet today. I testify that this Church is the only true church on the face of the earth today.

How I live my faith

My membership in this Church blesses my life daily. We have a wonderful Ward, and I serve in the women's organization. The Sisters love and serve one another, through monthly Visiting Teaching and other things. My husband and I attend the Temple often to do work for those who have gone before. The Temple is a huge blessing in our life.
