Hi I'm Marysa

I'm a Texan. I'm a mother, wife, daughter, sister. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Although born in Utah, I was raised in Texas and claim to be a "Texas Girl". I even served mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Texas. My heart is deffinatlty in Texas! I grew up in a large family feeling loved and well cared for by two wonderful parents. Now I am a mother of three of my own and love it! The joys of motherhood are like no others! My interests are being with family & friends, reading, crafting, napping and eating chocolate. My dream is to someday to have a beautiful garden, learn quilting and woodwork.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was raised a Mormon I continue to choose to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because of the evidence of truth and the blessings I have witnessed by living its teachings. Although no angels have visited me, I cannot deny the miracles in my life that have shown me the truth about God's love for me by watching over me and helping me through the challenges of life. I love the Book of Mormon and feel a real power that generates into my life by reading and pondering its pages. My testimony of Jesus Christ as my Savior is strengthened by the testimonies of the prophets recorded in this book.

How I live my faith

As a mother I feel that I have a responsibility to my Heavenly Father to serve and teach the children he gave me and guide them while they are young to be successful in their future families and communities. I believe that this role is especially vital in the world today to create a safe environment for them to thrive and live up to their potential for good. One of my favorite ways to serve at church is teaching other little children about Heavenly Father and how much He loves them. Their desire to learn and trust is so beautiful and refreshing. My heart goes out to little ones who don't have the loving care and protection they deserve.
