Hi I'm Justin Kai Jenks

I grew up in a small farm town in Washington State. I grew up playing sports, hunting, and fishing. I am so glad that I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am the 2nd oldest of 5 kids. I love the outdoors. I grew up playing football, basketball, wresting, cross country, and baseball. However, my favorites are football and baseball. Baseball for the longest time has and still is one of my hobbies that I enjoy the most. Along with sports, since I was young my father instilled in me a forever love for fishing. Some of my most spiritual realizations and experiences were while fishing alone, and with my father. I currently am serving a 2 year mission in the Washington DC North Mission. It has been the greatest experience of my life!

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was eight because my parents and church leaders had taught me that it was the right thing to do. So I did. It was the most important decision that I have ever made. I can now see the blessings that the lord has given me because of that decision. I try to study the scriptures whenever I can. It makes me feel peaceful when I do read them. Ultimately I am a member of this church because I know it is true. Many ask "well how do you know?" To you I say this, the same way you received answers in school. You asked. That all you have to do. Our Heavenly Father, or God, loves us and wants us to know these things. All we have to do is pray, asking if it is true, and then wait for the answer to come. Don't believe me? Try it and you'll see.

How I live my faith

I believe the best way to love your faith is to actually do that, live it. That's what I try to do. Live at all times that and one would be able to recognize you as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love to do service and help other people in need. I try to be the positive influence in my friends life because many of them aren't mormon. They all know i'm mormon and they respect my standards. I am very grateful for that.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Justin Kai Jenks
No, Mormons don't only help mormons. We help who ever needs the service. We are all children of God. Show more Show less
