Hi I'm Brent

I am a father of six. I am a General building contractor. I enjoy many outdoor activities including water skiing and snow skiing.

About Me

I live in sunny San Diego, California. I am a 5th generation Mormon. I am a building contractor. I have been married to the same wonderful woman for 27 years. I am a father of six. I enjoy water skiing, snow skiing, riding quads and motorcycles with my wife and kids. Our oldest son served a mission in the Colorado Springs mission and our second son is now serving in the Brazil Fortaleza mission. Our third is now preparing to serve in January. We lost our fifth child ( our fifth boy) who was still born due to Lyme Disease. My wife and three of my children have lyme disease. Through facing challenges life has thrown at us as a family we have grown closer to God and to each other. We know there is a bigger plan than that of our own and we take great comfort knowing it is God's plan we follow.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have found the answers to life's questions in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There is nothing more important to me than God and my family . The more I know of God , his teaching and his plan the more I understand his plan for me and my family and how we can have joy and happiness in our lives. I know we can be together as a family forever if we live by God's teachings. I went to Guatemala as a young man of 19 to bring the gospel to the great people of Guatemala. As I taught them about the Savior and his teachings I came to know the Savior and his love for not only me but all of his children. God desires all of his children to return to him and I love sharing his Gospel with others to help them find their way back home.

How I live my faith

I have had the opportunity to coach little league baseball, youth soccer and pop warner football. For four years I taught high school age young men and women about the scriptures every school morning at 6:30 am. I have been involved with the Boy Scouts of America for the past 15 years going hiking, camping and teaching young men life skills to suceed with. I have served in our church in various capacities which has given me great opportunities to serve others. I have learned through that service that when we are in the service of our fellow beings we are in the service of our God!
