Hi I'm Taylor

I'm a mother of one and a music teacher of many. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up I always loved music. I have been playing piano for as long as I can remember. After I discovered my love for piano I began singing, and playing the harp. When I was 16 I started teaching lessons and have been doing it ever since. The joy and peace that music brings into my life is something that I treasure and use to bring lots of happiness to my family. I'm a young mom with two little girls and a fantastic husband. Sometimes people think that I'm awful young to have a family, but I couldn't be happier.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a Mormon my entire life. Many kids choose to do things because their parents do but at a young age I wanted to know for myself if I should be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I remember being 7 years old and praying to my Heavenly Father about my upcoming baptism and whether or not the church was his true church. Whether or not Joseph Smith was a true prophet that restored the gospel upon the earth, and whether or not the Book of Mormon was indeed another testament of Jesus Christ. I remember kneeling next to my bed and asking my Heavenly Father for a knowledge of these things and having this overwhelming peaceful, tingly sensation. And I knew without a doubt that being baptized into his church was what he wanted for me. That's not to say I haven't struggled and fluctuated with my testimony since I was 7 years old, but when those hard times come I can still get on my knees and pray to my Heavenly Father and still feel the same peace I did when I was 7 years old.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every single day of my life. I start living it the moment I get up by praying to my Heavenly Father and ending my day back on my knees with my family. My faith is ingrained in me, it isn't just what I believe it's also who I am. I know that my Savior lives and that he loves me. And not only does he love me he loves everyone so I try every day to become more and more like him and serve those around me.
