Hi I'm Isaac Jaramillo

I am18, from Arizona, and I am Mormon

About Me

My name is Isaac Jaramillo, I am 18, and I am a convert to the church I feel that being in the church has blessed my life so much. I joined the church 2 years ago. I love hanging out with my new friends. I love camping, hiking, basically outdoor stuff. I love talking to people and making new friends. Right now I'm serving a mission helping others come unto Christ by helping them understand the Gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I know that I am a child of God, I love feeling the spirit that I get when I am in church, or when I am home teaching. I am a convert to the church and I feel like it has blessed me and my family so much. I love learning the gospel and I love sharing it to other people, because I feel like if I don't share it then I am being selfish with it, and I want others to feel what I feel all the time. When I received the missionary discussions I loved the feeling that was in my house, and it motivated me to have them over often. Then before I got baptized I read James 1:5, I read the Book of Mormon and I prayed about the church and I knew it was true, because while I was praying I felt that God was answering my prayer as I was saying it. Then I knew I had to get baptized. I am Mormon because I know that for a fact that Joseph Smith did see God our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ. Heavenly Father understands me and my difficulties, He knows what I go threw and what my thoughts are. I love this Church because I know that this is the church the Jesus Christ established on the earth and I know that threw His gospel and His plan I will be able to return to Heavenly Fathers presence.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every Sunday and keeping the Sabbath day holy. I live the Word of Wisdom which is not drinking, smoking, doing harmful drugs, and staying healthy. I strive to live Heavenly Fathers commandments the best I can. Participating in sacrament and reading scriptures are very important to me because it helps me be more faithful. Also I show my faith by sharing the gospel with others and helping them feel closer to our Heavenly Father. But one thing that I realized is that faith is like a seed and the only way to nurture it is by three simple thing which are Reading the scriptures getting more of an understanding of the gospel, Praying this helps me stay in contact with my Heavenly Father I am bale to communicate with him, and Going to church is important because I'm able to get a deeper understanding of the gospel and I am able to feel the spirit.
