Hi I'm T.J.

I attend high school in Colorado. I love life, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I play the french horn, piano and sing a little. I also love to run cross-country and do theater (acting and technical). My favorite subject in school is Science. I enjoy boy scouting here in the Rocky Mountains, with frequent hikes and campouts. Some of my other hobbies include 3-D animation, drawing, painting, and building whatever I can think of out of whatever I can find.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because, although I was born into the church and sometimes take it for granted, I believe it is true with all my heart. The restored message of peace and love from a wise Heavenly Father and his compassionate Son, Jesus Christ, fills me with joy whenever I hear it. There is no doubt in my mind that this is the true church, and I am truly blessed to have known it my entire life.

How I live my faith

I serve as a priest in my ward, meaning I perform such duties as blessing the sacrament, baptizing converts and looking out for the needs of members of our church. I especially enjoy being able to bless the sacrament, particularly when we get to bless it in sign language for a deaf brother in our ward, or to the elderly in care centers and their homes. Hometeaching, in which we visit members outside of church with their families to find out how how they are doing, is also a great joy. The people I am lucky enough to visit have blessed my life in more ways than I could possibly imagine. All of them constantly remind me that the church is true through the way they live and the actions they take.
