Hi I'm Bill

I'm a Mormon and proud to be.

About Me

I'm a dad with 6 wonderful children, and 11 (still more to come) fantastic grandchildren. It's the best being a granddad. I love my family and enjoy spending time with them. I love sports and the outdoors. My favorite past-time is exploring the great State of Arizona on over-night adventures on Quads with family and friends. There is nothing like being places and seeing things that very few people ever get the chance to see. It's hard to appreciate the great country in which you live in when all you see is buildings and black-top. I think people need to get out more and be a part of nature. I feel it relieves stress and rejuvinates a person.

Why I am a Mormon

I actually was born a Mormon. When I was young my family was soso in being active and church was there when we needed it. Prayers were when we needed something and not there when things were fine. I basically grew up being around the church but not being really into it. Being raised a Mormon, as a young man we are taught that we should go on a mission and even growing up with the church not that important, I always felt that I would go on one. But having that feeling and going on one changed by life. After I left on my mission, my whole world changed. I now felt that there truly was a God and that he cared about me. As I began to read the scriptures, really read them, I began to understand myself and my reason for being here. My life now had meaning and things finally clicked into place. I guess you can say that I finally found myself and now I knew what I wanted. I now wanted to share with people what I had to be able to help them find that "meaning of life". I knew what I needed to be happy and to share that with others was really important to me. During those two years, I had the opportunity to speak to many minister of different religions, (I went on my mission to Kentucky and Tennessee in the bible belt) and I could see many great aspects of what they taught but I could see that there was more, much more, that they did not understand or teach that was taught by The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-day Saints. Mainly that God was not someone we couldn't comprehend. Why would God who loves us make it where we couldn't really know who he was and what he was like. He Doesn't. HE wants us to know him and to have all that He has. That is why I am a Mormon. There is nothing mystifying about God or Jesus. They are human just like us though perfected and we can also reach that perfection by following their words that come to us from living prophets. If you do not understand attend a Mormon church and you can see the truth in what I am saying.

How I live my faith

Day by day. Sometimes we are faced with challenges but knowing who God is and what He has instore for his children, makes it easy to keep the faith and live your religion. I try to be a good example and have an uplifting personallity so that people can see the goodness that comes by being a "Mormon'
