Hi I'm Bjorn

I'm an engineering specialist with a controls company, ATS. I've lived many places in the US as a military brat. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to my beautiful wife for almost four years. I recently started working at an HVAC controls company and have been learning to manage and engineer jobs in the contracting world. I graduated last December with a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering with a Mechanical Engineering specializiation, and have credits from five institutions. My father was in the military for most of my life, and we traveled throughout the US and lived overseas in Germany and Australia as well. My mother is currently a nurse and going to school to be a physicians assistant. I am the oldest of 3 siblings, two sisters and one brother. I like to read, snowboard, ski, hike, play video games, listen to music, hunt, ride my motorcycle, cook, spend time with my wife, watch movies, try different foods/restaurants, boogie board, and spend time with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church and have attended actively for most of my life, participating in its youth programs, in my wards' Boy Scout troups, and in church worship. Although there have been times in my life when I have not participated actively in the Church, I have stayed in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I believe it contains the gospel of it's namesake, my savior, Jesus Christ. I believe that He loves me, wants me to be happy and successful in this life, and continually helps me through my daily struggles. I believe He has a plan for me to return and live with Him and my Father in Heaven again, and that by following His teachings, example, and relying on His atonement, I can be with not only my God again, but also my family, for eternity. I believe that the Church has the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and helps me to learn more about my Lord and what I must do to find peace and happiness in this life and the next. I believe my leaders are inspired by God and receive guidance from Him, and exercise authority over this Church with His priesthood power righteously, and I believe that the Lord also provides the same guidance to me, and anyone who comes unto Him, to help us through the many different aspects of our very different lives. I believe the Church shares Christ's message of peace and joy, and I'm grateful to be a part of it.

How I live my faith

I currently travel a lot with my job, but I am grateful for the opportunity and blessing to attend church meetings in different areas with consistent meetings, where I participate in lessons, scripture study, and discussions that progress the same in every area I attend, with wonderful people in every place, so it's almost like attending the same meeting house!
