Hi I'm Kylie

I am from San Tan Valley, Arizona! I went to BYU-Idaho. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Arizona, and I am convinced it is the greatest place! I am studying Psychology at BYU-Idaho. I love music and watching movies. I love reading books and playing games! My family is awesome and we love to spend time together. I am serving a mission in Rochester, New York!

Why I am a Mormon

My family has been members of the church for a long time, but I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, because I have received a witness that it is true! I have prayed about Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon and have felt the Spirit of God confirm to me that Joseph Smith really is a prophet of God and that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that this is the true church because of the witnesses I have received and because of the miracles I see every day!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following the example of Jesus Christ. I love the way that He served all those He came in contact with! I try to do all I can to serve those around me, and to help them feel of Gods love. To me, serving others, in any form we can, helps me to live my faith and become more like Christ.

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

We love the bible! "We believe the bible to be the word of God, as far as it is translated correctly, we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God" (Article of Faith 8). We believe that we need both the Bible and the Book of Mormon to more fully understand the life, ministry, and teachings of Jesus Christ and the Doctrines of God the Father. Not one replaces the other! We use both to answer questions and resolve concerns in our lives. We believe both the Bible and The Book of Mormon as the word of God! Show more Show less
