Hi I'm Lionel

I'm a woodworker, handyman and a grandfather. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

A junior high shop project instilled the love of making things from wood. Many projects have followed: Installing shelving, making raised panel cabinets, remodeling, turning pens, lamp and bowls. Married 50 years to a wonderful lady. We have 5 children and 21 grandchildren and on most Saturday’s you can find me cheering for one of my grandchildren at a sporting event. Born into farming, schooled as an Electrical Engineer, retired now and serving others.

Why I am a Mormon

The phrase, “Until death do you part” in a marriage ceremony troubles me. Love is eternal. Families can be together forever. Heavenly Father’s Plan provides for eternal families. I want to be with my family in eternity, that's my focus.

How I live my faith

I believe the world should be better place because of my life. Membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gives many rewarding opportunities to better the world through service. I work with my family, church organizations and the community on projects utilizing my skills as father, grandfather and handyman. The true fulfillment in living is working together.
