Hi I'm Brenda

I am a wife, mother, the oldest of 4 girls and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother. I am the oldest of 4 girls. I grew up in Moab, Utah and made life long friends during my school years. I enjoy reconnecting with friends through various social media websites. I enjoy helping others. I am out-going and love to meet new people. I make friends easily and cherish each friendship. My favorite color is any shade of pink. I wear pink almost everyday. I love animals and have been called the crazy cat lady on more than one occasion. I enjoy volunteering at the Bishop's Storehouse where they can food. I have had the pleasure of helping can tomato paste. It smelled so good that I went home one time after canning and made grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church however I stopped going when I was in my teens. I spent the early part of my adult life living from one stressful situation to the next, divorce, raising my son alone, gambling addiction and other life challenges. Several years ago I returned to church and started following the principles of the Gospel and my life started to change. I am happier then I have ever been yet I am still experiencing some of life's challenges as I am currently unemployed. I no longer stay up at nights worrying how I will overcome those challenges. I now know that I am not alone and the Lord will get me through my challenges so I no longer have to worry as much. I'm a Mormon because I know this church is the true church. Heavenly Father sent his son Jesus Christ to the earth and he died for my sins. I have lived my life both being active in the church and being inactive. I know and see the difference. My life is now rich and fulfilling being an active member of the church. And I am very happy with less stress!

How I live my faith

Sunday is my favorite day of the week as I get to go to church! I enjoy seeing my church family every Sunday. One Sunday a month I get the pleasure of giving the lesson in our women's group. I strive to live the commandments. I am not perfect but I try. And when I fail I ask for forgiveness and I move forward. I am so grateful for our Savior and through him we can be forgiven. I pray often, serve others and do what I can to receive the blessings that are promised to me when I do what the Lord asks of me.
