Hi I'm Chelsea

I grew up in Massachusetts and Texas. I am a dance education major. I am a daughter, sister, and wife. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I study dance education and love all forms of dance. I love to bake, cook, read, craft, sing, watch movies, go to church and spend time with my family. I am the oldest of four children. My family and I have always had a strong, close relationship, and I love them dearly. My loving husband James comes from a wonderful family of ten. I am supporting him through medical school. We love spending time together and strengthening our home and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I know God lives. I know that He knows and loves me individually, as his daughter, Chelsea. I know that His son, Jesus Christ, is my Savior and Redeemer. He atoned for my sins, making it possible to live with him and my Heavenly Father again. I know that it is by faith and good works and keeping God's commandments that we can enter the Lord's kingdom. I know that families can be together forever and for time and all eternity by the power and authority of the holy priesthood in a temple of the Lord. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that he translated the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon is true. I have read it and prayed to know of the truthfulness of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. God answered my prayer and confirmed to me that His gospel is true. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is the true prophet on the earth today and he leads and guides us in these perilous times of trouble and gloom. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true because I live the gospel to the best of my ability each day and it brings me and my family true joy and happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending all three hours of church every Sunday. I participate in activities put together by members of our church that live in the community. Also, the ladies in my ward, (a ward is organized by landmark boundaries) get together and have cooking classes, book groups, sewing groups, and craft groups. I also visit certain women in my ward that I am assigned to teach a short gospel message to every month, and vice versa. It is a great way to reach out and be a support to other women and their families. I also serve in other ways in the ward, bringing all the members of our church closer together. I support the full-time missionaries. My brother is currently serving a mission in Scotland & Ireland and my brother-in-law is serving a mission in Germany, Switzerland & Austria. It is important to me that I live my faith and show everyone around me how the gospel of Jesus Christ brings joy and happiness into my life.
