Hi I'm Renee

I'm a Mom and a College Administrator. I love NHRA Drag Racing and Stevie Nicks. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Mom with 3 daughters who works outside of the home as a College Administrator. It is always a challenge to balance work and home. My professional life is very rewarding because I have the privilege of assisting students towards achieving their educational goals. I love to spend any time free time I have at home with my family. We love to watch movies and TIVO together. I love 80's music but especially Stevie Nicks (who I have seen in concert many times) and Journey. I do enjoy sports including BYU football and Rockies baseball but my favorite sport is NHRA Drag Racing. I love to watch drag racing in person but also on TV. It's a sport I have enjoyed sharing with my brother and husband. I love to bargain shop with my oldest daughter and love shoes! I enjoy reading historical fiction and am an avid fan of all things Europe and and ejoy watching period films. I enjoy history. My parents were immigrants to the United States who instilled in me a love of country and a strong work ethic. Both of my parents are converts.

Why I am a Mormon

My testimony has always come from a stong feeling inside, a prompting I know as the Holy Ghost that reveals the truth to me. I feel blessed to have this comforter in my life. My membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has been my safety and has created a template for my life. This foundation has guided me throughtout my life--- a belief in the atonement of Jesus Christ and in the restored gospel of his church revealed to the prophet Joseph Smith. The scriptures, both the Bible and the Book of Mormon have given me examples of how to lead my life and testify to me that Christ is our Savior. Hearing the words of modern-day prophets has also been a guiding force in my life.

How I live my faith

In my professional life, I live my faith by being the best example I can be. I want my testimony to shine through my actions and my joy for the gospel to spread to others. I have held positions at chuch that include teaching children and mentoring the youth. I have also served the women of my congregation as an activities leader. My parents have always been great examples of church service and membership and I hope to do the same for my own children.
