Hi I'm Angela

I am a mother of six in a combined family. I grew up in the military. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy reading, cooking and cross-stitching. I love being with my kids. Four of our children are grown and in College/out of the house so I relish the moments when I can speak with them. I enjoy the time I can spend with my husband who is my friend. I just began a new job and am enjoying the adventure of learning something new again.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I'm a Mormon...I don't know where I would be if I weren't. I have had a few interesting trials in life and without the gospel I wouldn't know where to turn for peace or comfort. I know my Saviour lives. I have felt the strength his love gives me to go on from day to day, even when I felt at times I couldn't. I have read the Book of Mormon, prayed to know of its truthfulness, and received that beautiful burning knowledge of its truthfulness. I know it is true. I know the comfort it brings to my life. I know that Heavenly Father has watched over my children when I can't. He has poured blessings upon blessings on them, a witness to me that he hears and answers my prayers. I am grateful to know that even though I have made mistakes, some repeatedly, I can be forgiven them through repentance, because of the wonderful gift of the atonement. I I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being honest and truthful in everything I do or say. I participate in service projects around our community when I can. I love helping others and look for opportunities to do so. Sometimes, it is even just a smile to a stranger who looks a little down in the dumps. I try to watch my language, not gossip and have a genuine concern for others.

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

I have always looked at the Word of Wisdom as a guide line to keep our bodies healthy. Our body is a gift from God, and we have been give instruction to reframe from harmful substances in order to stay strong both physically and mentally. Show more Show less
