Hi I'm Rich C. Cook

I was raised in Pocatello, Idaho. I have lived in Colorado for 42 years. I am a welder-fabricator owner operator for 37 years.

About Me

I am a welder-fabricator owner operator of our business for 37 years. We have built 5 homes in this time period. I love building and making projects. I have been married for 42 years and have 4 beautiful daughters and 3 great sons. We have 22 grandchildren. I really enjoy being with my family. I enjoy hunting, fishing, boating, water sports, baseball , football, hiking and all outdoor activites

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. I came from 5 generations of mormons. My ansesters came across the plains by handcarts and covered wagons. There was a time in my life when I had to be converted to the gospel through reading the scriptures, fasting and prayer. I believe the King James Bible where it teaches of prophets, apostles, bishops, high priests, seventies, elders, priests, teahers, deacons, patriarchs, etc. Christ established his church on the earth which he set up with the priesthood, baptism by immersion, the sacrament, and the healing of the sick by faith.

How I live my faith

I enjoy reading the Bible and the Book of Mormon, they teach us to help others and to help those in need. In the church we visit familes in our local units, that is always very rewarding and uplifting for me. I love going to our Heavenly Fathers house the temple, enjoying the peace and happiness there. In the church we have no paid ministry, we have the opportunity to be teachers and ministers in the church. We are our Heavenly Fathers children and I love the teachings of our elder brother Jesus Christ. I know he is the savior of all man kind, that he died for us, attoned for our sins that we might live with our Heavenly Father again when we leave this life. Through prayer, fasting, reading the scriptures, having faith we can know where we came from , why we are here and where we are going when we leave this life.
