Hi I'm Jeralyn

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full time mother and wife. I have always wanted to be a mom. I have been blessed with beautiful children and a loving husband who keep me, in their own little ways, on track. It's not always easy and fun, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. If not in the house, you'll find me at football practice or games, running to and fro from schools or busy in the shop making things out of wood. I love to create new things with anything I can get my hands on.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. Some people might think that I am a Mormon because my parents are. That is not the case. Yes they influenced me, but in order to truely know something is true, you have to find it out for yourself. I did. At a young age, I read the Book of Mormon and I took the challange that one of the anchient prophets gave; "Ask in the name of Jesus Christ if these things are true. . . and by the power of the Holy Ghost, you may know the truth to all things." I prayed, and I got the answer for myself. I then knew for myself that the Book of Mormon was true, that God lives and Jesus Christ is my savior. From then on, I am a 'Mormon' because I choose to be and will always be a member of The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints. Each day I give thanks to my Heavenly Father for the wonderful gift He has given me. The Atonement of Jesus Christ. This testimony has been confirmed over and over again. Through trials and challenges, and when you don't think things could get any worse, that overwhelming conviction comes again and again through the power of the Holy Ghost. It strengthens, it lifts, it guides, it comforts. I am truely grateful for this giift.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by setting a good example, fullfilling my church calling and try to help someone everyday. I am sad to say that I fall short all the time. It seems like there isn't enough time during the day to get all that needs to be done, done. But I know that with time and with the Lord's help, all things are possible. It's not easy but someone once told me that "Easy is doing nothing, but who wants nothing?" So I know that when each day passes, I hope that I am that much closer (even though it might only be a tiny bit) to my Heavenly Father.
