Hi I'm Doug Angus

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 55, work in the Banking Industry as a Technical Manager, the father of 6 children, and 15 grandchildren. I have been married to Patti for the past 33.5 wonderful years - she has been my companion, best friend and steady beacon over the years and continues to exemplify the Savior as an example to me. I have been over weight for the past 18 years and am now learning to eat properly and to exercise. As a result I am finding that I enjoy walking, hiking, and running. I have also started giving service in the Temple and love the feeling of peace and joy that I feel there. I have a natural love for anything electronic and have had fun over the years going from the first PC's to the new series of Tablets (prefer Android).

Why I am a Mormon

I love the Savior and all that he has done for me. I have always had a strong testimony that the Savior was the author and head of this church but over the years as I read the scriptures and pray those feelings have grown stronger and I see so many examples and blessings in my life that reinforce that belief. One of the greatest blessings have been my wife and family. I love the fact that the Savior offers each of us the privilege of obtaining an eternal marriage and family. What more could I ask or hope for?

How I live my faith

I live my faith by really just trying to follow the Savior - Do unto other as you would have them do to you. I also work with those in the Church that need help finding employment by pointing them to resources, career planning (education opportunities), or just words of encouragement. I volunteer as well at the temple to help direct and teach those that come to find peace and happiness.
