Hi I'm Karolyn

I'm a mom to 3, sister, friend, reading teacher and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love life. . .I am a reading teacher to first graders. I love hiking, exploring, and just being outside. I am a single mom to three amazing kiddos. I love my family and spend a lot of time with them, cheering them on at baseball, teeball, or volleyball games.

Why I am a Mormon

I want to live with my family forever. . .even after we die. I know through the covenants I have made I will be able to live with my family forever and not just in this life. I love the peace that the gospel of Jesus Christ brings into my life and my home as I raise my kids to come to understand the things of Christ. I know why I am here on this earth and I know where I am going. Heavenly Father has given us a plan to follow and one that will guide us back to him. I love that when I am struggling through a trial I can turn to the scriptures for answers and pray to my Heavenly Father. He hears us and wants us to return to live with him again someday. He wants to help us as we journey through this life. This is the good news that the gospel brings into my life and why I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. . .a mormon!

How I live my faith

I strive to live the gospel everyday of my life. I begin my day with prayer. I want to know those around me that need my love or caring hand. I want to be an instrument in the hand of Jesus Christ in helping others along their way as we all journey through this life together. I work with the youth at church and I love their zest for life. They give me hope and faith to shine my light to others I see and meet along my path. On days I am not so strong I continue in faith and know that there are better days ahead and that the best is yet to be. I know my knowledge of the gospel gives me this hope to continue even when the path is hard to climb.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

No, not at all, we love to help everyone around us and even those living far away. The Church provides relief to over 167 countries worldwide. We love to help all of our brothers and sisters. . . Show more Show less
