Hi I'm Ryalin

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the mother of a blended family of 7 children. 6 boys and 1 girl. They range from 6 years old to 17 years old. My three older boys live with their father and my two stepsons and my two children with my husband live in our household. We also have a German exchange student. My husband is active duty Navy and I absolutely LOVE military life. Sure, we sometimes have physical separations and long work days, but I wouldn't trade it. I enjoy being part of a military community!! I am involved in PTO, am a Cubscout Wolf Leader and play soccer. I also enjoy digital scrapbooking and have learned how to sew simple skirts and pillowcases. I hope to expand this talent and learn new talents such as baking bread. I don't really enjoy cooking, but do it to feed my family. However, I love to bake and would make a pie, cookies, or desserts any day instead of making dinner. :) I support my children in their endeavors no matter what that may be. I have a trumpet player, boy scouts, cubscouts, a drama girl, soccer player, football players, wrestlers, and can often be found in the car as I shuffle them to and from their activies. I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and am not teaching full time due to a recent move to Texas. I am however a substitute teacher and hope to one day have a full time classroom again. I am finishing my Masters Degree and hope to graduate soon.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and during my first marriage was in-active meaning I didn't go to church or participate. As I found myself divorced with 3 young boys, I went back to to church and saught out for myself what I believed. As I began taking my children to church I found that I had always known what I believed, I just didn't go to appease my first husband. My current husband became a member shortly after we started dating and my family is very important to me. I know that this church is true and want to raise my family in the church so that we may be together after this life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church on sundays, participating in our church activities, serve others and volunteer in the community while trying to continue on my path to be more Christ like. My church calling is to lead the wolf cubscout who are age 8. I enjoy this calling as I get to teach the young boys how to do a variety of things like sew, be part of the community, provide service, keep their bodies healthy, and do fun sports such as BB guns, archery, camp, swim, hike, and generally have fun.
