Hi I'm Jenn

I'm a wife. I'm a mom. I'm a child of God. I'm a Christian and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a child of God, I am a Christian. I am a wife and mom. I am also a daughter, a sister and an aunt. And, I love life! I came from a wonderful family that loved me and accepted the gospel when it was presented to them and then taught me gospel principles. I am a returned missionary. I served in Brasilia, Brazil. I am a college graduate. I studied Journalism/Communications with minors in Portuguese and Women’s Studies. I worked in Public Relations in the tech industry for a number of years.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, a Latter-Day Saint, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because it has made my life peaceful. I am also a Mormon because I believe that at the tender age of 14 a young boy named Joseph Smith went into a grove of trees to ask his Father in Heaven which church was true. I believe that God the Father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph that day. I believe with all my heart that through Joseph Smith, God the Father and his son Jesus Christ reestablished His church once again on the earth in its fullness. I also believe that through Joseph Smith the Book of Mormon was translated and priesthood keys were restored. I am excited to live in an age where once again we have living a living prophet and apostles among us to teach, to lead, and to guide with power and authority directly from the Lord. This is not a gift exclusively for Mormons, it is an invitation to all people of the earth to come unto Christ and to partake of the rich blessings that only He can offer. It is the amazing news of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Daily, line upon line, precept upon precept. Definitely imperfectly, but nonetheless a daily effort. My faith is interwoven into every aspect of my life. I look for opportunities to serve in my family, my church and in my community. I smile a lot. I pray a lot. I say I am sorry a lot. I give hugs a lot. I love a lot.
