Hi I'm Diane

I've lived in Arizona all my life. I love my children. I drive a school bus and mostly like it. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I endure the heat of Arizona so that I can enjoy the beautiful months of October thru May. I love to travel around Arizona and anywhere else I have the opportunity to visit. I love to be with my family and friends. I like movies and reading. I like to enjoy the outdoors (in good weather) and see the beauty that God has given us. I like to take pictures of the beauty I see in nature and especially in people.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church my whole life. Thru the example of family members my testimony grew in my youth so that when I was on my own I wanted to live the gospel. My testimony has continued to grow through good times and bad. Sometimes I've made bad choices and not followed the teachings that would've made my life easier. My testimony of the Atonement has grown thru these mistakes, I am so grateful to my Savior that He made it possible for me to repent and continue towards living with Him again. I am so grateful for the gospel in my life, it helps me to continually strive to be a better person and be Christlike.

How I live my faith

I love to serve in my ward. I have worked with and taught the children, learning from them as I teach. I enjoy being able to serve with the women in my ward, as we reach out to our community and to each other. We're always cooking things to take to the sick or the sad. Serving helps me to forget about my own problems, makes me appreciate the many blessings I have. I try to be kind and considerate with my co-workers and others I come in contact with. Trying always to remember to treat others as Christ would. I would love for others to see the light of Christ in my life and want that same thing for themselves.

Why is self-reliance important to Mormons? Why do Mormons talk about emergency preparedness?

The leaders of our church have been counseling us for years to be self-reliant, to have enough food, money, education to sustain us through hard times. This helps us to be independent and have peace. Wow, look at our world now! This is the time we've been warned about. Those who have listened to our leaders and have no debt, have food, education for good jobs, money set aside for when we lose a job, they are able to survive these tough times without relying on a precarious government. What a testimony to me of needing a modern day prophet to guide and direct us. Show more Show less
