Hi I'm Rylee!

I am a college girl and missionary. I love smiling, having fun with my family, and good ol' orange juice. Yes, I am a Mormon!

About Me

The first thing you should know about me is that I am a very bubbly person and I might scare you off. The second, is that you should never take my orange juice from me...ever. I am eighteen years old and almost through my first year of college! It is an absolute blast! I love to make the best of anything and use my imagination. Through trials thick and thin, this is what helped me endure. I have found the best of friends everywhere I go and have learned a lot from all of them. I wouldn't be the person I am today without the people that touch my life. Now, I bet you're wondering if there is some awesome talent I have or something special that makes me stand out from others. Honestly, I don't. I love to sing, dance, read, write, play piano, softball, games and just have fun!! Whether it's something REALLY nerdy or REALLY girly! I don't believe there is such a thing as lame. If it doesn't peak your interest, that's okay! But if you truly look for a good time, you'll find it! :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have prayed and learned for myself if the gospel is true. When I was little and in primary, I would know the songs and feel warmth and comfort. I would never doubt what feelings and impressions I had. As I grew older, I was baptised and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. During that confirmation, I was able to have the Gift of the Holy Ghost. That gift has testified over and over again of the truthfullness I know now. In high school, I have been tested on multiple occasions. HIgh school is the time when you find out who you are, what you enjoy doing, where you stand and who your real friends are. I was unsure of where I stood. When I got my Patriarchal Blessing, my testimony was unwavering. I knew I could always trust my Father in Heaven. I know now without a doubt that I am a daughter of a loving Heavenly Father and that He has a plan for me.

How I live my faith

As a young women, I try to live the way my Heavenly Father would be pleased with. I have been called before in various Young Women age groups. It gave me responsibility and helped me set goals for myself. The Young Women are very near and dear to my heart. I love the girls in it!! They may not know it, but they are examples to me. My work environment consists of 60 little preschoolers hugging my legs; constantly begging for my full attention so they can show me their latest craft or how cool they are because they have a red shirt on. Those children help me see things on their level. As a child of God, how best to show our love to Him than as a child? I live my faith through simple righteous principles, day by day, line upon line, precept upon precept.
